Greatness lies in the Simplicity

By
Sooner or Later a man who wins is who thinks he can.
No Defeat if final until you stop Trying!
You only control your action and not the results. So be not motivated by results, nor be attached to inaction.

See how simple and great are the above lines. It is true that Greatness lies in the Simplicity. To become great we shall not look at the great achievements or results attained by the Great people but shall look at the path they followed to become Great.
So if we make up our mind to do good to this world by our words and deeds, then by consistently following this good path, sure on one day we would become Great.

The Real Goal of Human Life is achieved by following Sahaj Marg

By
What is the 'Real goal of human life' ? Our birth of human life is not accidental, causeless and meaningless. It is according to cause and effect theory. There is a purpose for birth and living. Hinduism believes in Births and Re-births. The cause for our birth is our past impressions (Sanskaras). These impressions will be wiped off only by undergoing them. There is no other go than this. In this way we have to remove the coverings surrounded by our soul and we have to become free.

What is Gratitude in human values?

By
Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness is a feeling of appreciation (or similar positive response) by a recipient of another's kindness.  We express gratitude when someone shows kindness, provides help, gives a gift, or offers encouragement. Expressing thanks is also appropriate for both big and small gestures, as it strengthens relationships and creates positive feelings.  It is beneficial to show gratitude whenever you genuinely feel it, as this makes interactions more meaningful and strengthens your connection with others. In spirituality, gratitude shifts towards a deeper recognition of life's interconnectedness, such as meditating on the gift of breath, the universe's order, or inner peace as expressions of divine presence. Practices include affirmations such as "I am grateful for this moment" during breathwork or reflecting on personal growth as unseen blessings, aligning with present-moment awareness from traditions like Hindu philosophy. This form trans...

FRIENDSHIP

By
Image
Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection and love between people. In other words, it is familiar and liking of each other's mind. It is not something we learn in school.   Man cannot live all alone. He is a social being. He needs someone to share his joys and sorrows.   The strength of the bond of friendship between two people can vary. If the bond is very strong i.e., being kind, generous, loyal,  honest, etc., between the friends, they are called BEST FRIENDS . With these qualities, one can enjoy the bliss of friendship. Friends are important to have because they support us when things get tough in life and are always there to love and help.   Friends will come and go in our lives.  A good friend is trustworthy to tell us the truth, even when it is hard for us to hear, makes us smile, and is there to listen and comforts us when we cry. Having good friends who stood first in difficult situations is really important....

Role of Friends in Life.

By
Image
The meaning and nature of friendship changes with the stages of life.  In real life, friendship does not remain the same throughout life. As a man grows, circumstances, ego, jealousy, misunderstandings, and economic differences slowly test relationships.  Many friends come close for some time and later move away.  This is natural reality of life.  Below is a more realistic view of friendship through the stages of life. 1. Age 4-6: At this age, friends are playmates. A child thinks a friend is someone who shares toys, plays games, and spends time together. Friendship is innocent and temporary.  If a quarrel happens, it is forgotten quickly.  2. Age 7-15: Friends become school companions. Children start forming small groups.  Friendship is based on studying together, playing sports, and common interests. Loyalty begins to develop, but it is still strongly influenced by surroundings.  3. Age 16-30: This is the period of mul...

Man's march towards God.

By
God is generally defined as the Supreme, eternal Creator and sustainer of the Universe, often viewed as an omnipotent, omniscient, and personal being who guides humanity.  He  is the supreme being who created the Universe and everything within it.  HE is the ultimate origin of all existence, responsible for the creation of heaven and earth. G od is a Spirit, described as eternal, invisible, serene as the Ab solute, having no beginning or end.  Man is defined as the mortal creation, characterised by a physical body and soul, designed to reflect divine attributes, worship the Creator and hold a position. Hindus  believe that Liberation(moksha) arises through the practice of stewardship on earth.  Man is mortal, a created being with a physical body, a soul, and a spirit.  our yogic paths: Karma Yoga (selfless action), Bhakti Yoga (devotion through worship and surrender), Jnana Yoga (knowledge and self-inquiry), and Raja Yoga (meditation). Devotees cultiv...

This is the common man’s view. But spiritually this has got a different meaning, a meaning in true sense. These three kinds of cravings termed as Tapatraya are  - 1. Aadhi Bhouthika (Physical) , 2. MOHA(DELUSION)

By
Image
Moha(Delusion) is a  state of mind which does not permit scope for discrimination. It is ignorant of the true facts and is the origin of egoism. It is one of the six bad vices and prevents one from knowing the truth and makes one addict to the gratification of sensual pleasures and makes us run after the material enjoyment. This can cause any misery in one's life and binds the soul to the process of birth and death.  The main obstacle for one's spiritual heritage causing him to lose knowledge of his true being is Moha(Delusion). This internal enemy drags the humans form all the sides away from the soul and makes life miserable. Lord Srikrishna, in Bhagavath Githa in Chapter.16 verse 16,  cautions us about the effect of Moha ( Delusion).  " Aneka - chitta - vibhrantah  moha-jala  samavritah prasanth kama - bhogeshu  patani matale shuchau" . Possessed and led astray by such imaginings enveloped in Mo...

Birth, Death and Re-birth

By
Most people of major religions disbelieve in reincarnation or rebirth and firmly believe that the present life is only a test for the next life after death. They believe that after death, the soul will be judged according to how each person lived their life.  A day will come when the whole universe will be destroyed and the dead will be resurrected for judgment by God. They will then go to heaven or hell depending on that judgment. Those who believe in God according to their religion will be admitted to Paradise forever and the non-believers will be sent to Hellfire. Various forms of life exist such as humans, plants, animals, birds, insects, worms, bacteria, etc., and they have a life cycle that undergoes metabolism, growth, reproduction, evolution, etc., over several generations. Birth is the process of bringing forth an organism from the uterus or womb from the body of its parent. Life is something that really exists that processes, acts, reacts, evaluates, and evolves. Life is ...

Smartphones or Tablets versus Laptops or Desktop Computers

By
As many of us know Smartphones and tablets like Apple's iPad, Samsung Galaxy tab, etc., can almost replace the desktops and laptop computers in terms of the number of different things you can do with them, not entirely though. They are mostly handy when you are on the go. Further they can even do few other things which the stand alone computers can't do directly (being static/non-movable), like the capturing of photos and small video clips, etc. They have some unique features like GPS (Global Positioning Systems), Geotagging of photos and finally that feature for which the smartphone is primarily in your hands - Voice calls & SMS. These can't be available in any computer except by having some attached auxiliaries. Even then the size matters when you want to go fully mobile. For mobility reasons we have evolved from using Desktop computers to laptops, to palmtops and recently to tablets and smartphones. But have you ever thought or wondered as why there are...
