Greatness lies in the Simplicity

By
Sooner or Later a man who wins is who thinks he can.
No Defeat if final until you stop Trying!
You only control your action and not the results. So be not motivated by results, nor be attached to inaction.

See how simple and great are the above lines. It is true that Greatness lies in the Simplicity. To become great we shall not look at the great achievements or results attained by the Great people but shall look at the path they followed to become Great.
So if we make up our mind to do good to this world by our words and deeds, then by consistently following this good path, sure on one day we would become Great.

What is Gratitude in human values?

By
Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness is a feeling of appreciation (or similar positive response) by a recipient of another's kindness.  We express gratitude when someone shows kindness, provides help, gives a gift, or offers encouragement. Expressing thanks is also appropriate for both big and small gestures, as it strengthens relationships and creates positive feelings.  It is beneficial to show gratitude whenever you genuinely feel it, as this makes interactions more meaningful and strengthens your connection with others. In spirituality, gratitude shifts towards a deeper recognition of life's interconnectedness, such as meditating on the gift of breath, the universe's order, or inner peace as expressions of divine presence. Practices include affirmations such as "I am grateful for this moment" during breathwork or reflecting on personal growth as unseen blessings, aligning with present-moment awareness from traditions like Hindu philosophy. This form trans...

Moderation of the senses and balance in Life.

By
Image
Moderation means the quality of doing something within reasonable limits and not being extreme. It further means balance in all senses and faculties, nothing more or less than what is naturally required for any specific purpose.  Generally, we find today moderation disturbed in all most all cases. The result that follows is nothing but disturbance and mental conflict and it is the root cause of all the troubles and miseries we are now facing.  There is a  saying. " Ati sarvatra varjayet ",  means excessive indulgence in anything that should be given up.  Nowadays, there is a foolish and painful drive to cross the limits of moderation.  The irony is despite knowing this many of us to attach undue importance to whatever thing comes to our view and we strengthen it by the force of our thought with the result that it grows stronger over all others. The result is nothing but disturbance and mental conflict and it is the root cause of all our troubles...

CHARITY

By
Image
Charity means voluntarily helping those in need as a humanitarian act by giving money, goods, etc., to the poor and needy either directly or through a Trust or Organization. Most forms of charity are concerned with providing basic necessities such as food, water, clothing, health care, shelter, education, etc., Charity  further means sharing what we have earned honestly and ethically with others. It is praised as the greatest virtue in Hindu Dharma.   Real happiness results from giving and not from receiving.  It is our Dharma to give charity and serve the poor and needy in any way possible.  In Bhagavath Githa Lord Krishna , in Chapter 17 verses  20, 21, and 22 taught us about what Charity means:           20:-  datayam iti yad danam diyate  nupakarine deshe kale cha patre cha tad danam  satvikam   smritam.                 ...

MOHA(DELUSION)

By
Image
Moha(Delusion) is a  state of mind which does not permit scope for discrimination. It is ignorant of the true facts and is the origin of egoism. It is one of the six bad vices and prevents one from knowing the truth and makes one addict to the gratification of sensual pleasures and makes us run after the material enjoyment. This can cause any misery in one's life and binds the soul to the process of birth and death.  The main obstacle for one's spiritual heritage causing him to lose knowledge of his true being is Moha(Delusion). This internal enemy drags the humans form all the sides away from the soul and makes life miserable. Lord Srikrishna, in Bhagavath Githa in Chapter.16 verse 16,  cautions us about the effect of Moha ( Delusion).  " Aneka - chitta - vibhrantah  moha-jala  samavritah prasanth kama - bhogeshu  patani matale shuchau" . Possessed and led astray by such imaginings enveloped in Mo...

WHY HINDUS WEAR TILAK(BINDI) ON THE FOREHEAD?

By
Image
Hinduism is not a religion.  It is Hindu Dharma, a  way of life.   Hindu dharma has many specialties.  It is known as Sanathana Dharma.  Sanathana means always existing,  eternal,  which cannot be destroyed by anything and everlasting. Dharma means, the way of life with all Aachaaras or customs and rituals.   In each and every aachaara there will be a hidden scientific reason.  All acharaas are followed for the mental and physical health;  long life;  prosperity and wealth; for strong family and social bondage.  Following the aacharaas as per our Dharma, give a fine personality, dharmic outlook, and vision. In India, everyone follows aachaaras for the above-mentioned psychological, physiological family relation, and social benefit viz.,  though we follow different religions we belong to one Country.  It is everyone's right and duty to understand scientifically and logically the meaning of each and every...

Understanding Men and Women fully reading 'Men are from Mars Women are from Venus'

By
This post offers our feedback about this good book, “ Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus ” which contains a description of various insights into understanding the nature of the men and the women in great detail. It is usual for men and women generally to expect their life partners to be the mirror images of themselves in terms of behavior, but it is very rare to find a match like that. Not only in case of life partner, but also with any other men and women (like father, mother, brothers and sisters) sometimes we try to help them thinking they would like what we do and the events turn against us. More important when we open a conversation to help someone is the ‘ Timing ’ and if it is wrong, the things would only become worse. For example, men always try to be “ Mr. Fix-it ” and women always try to do the role of “ Home-Improvement committee ”, is a good example to understand the behaviors. Mr. Fixit approach of men makes them ‘ solutions ’ which troubles the women at times. And ...

All about Windows 10 Mobile OS official release, latest build and comaptibility with your Smartphone

By
Image
We have been using Windows 10 Mobile OS technical preview builds for the last 6 months. And we are very much impressed with the hard work done by Microsoft. Windows phones have been there in the market for years but were not produced by Microsoft before their acquisition of Nokia. However observing what has changed from Windows 8 through Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, we certainly can state with confidence that many things have changed. And positively at that. ECOSYSTEMS If you are a customer who has just come out of Blackberry (original non-Android ones) ecosystem and immediately switch to Windows ecosystem, you'll be greatly impressed. The Windows 8.1 stole the show with very fluid, stylish and simple design. One might argue that iOS and Android are better ecosystems than what Windows is today. But purely from the OS point of view, the compatibility and flexibility points of view, we can say that Windows outperforms both Android and iOS in the sense that Microsoft has tru...

Role of Friends in Life.

By
Image
The meaning and nature of friendship changes with the stages of life.  In real life, friendship does not remain the same throughout life. As a man grows, circumstances, ego, jealousy, misunderstandings, and economic differences slowly test relationships.  Many friends come close for some time and later move away.  This is natural reality of life.  Below is a more realistic view of friendship through the stages of life. 1. Age 4-6: At this age, friends are playmates. A child thinks a friend is someone who shares toys, plays games, and spends time together. Friendship is innocent and temporary.  If a quarrel happens, it is forgotten quickly.  2. Age 7-15: Friends become school companions. Children start forming small groups.  Friendship is based on studying together, playing sports, and common interests. Loyalty begins to develop, but it is still strongly influenced by surroundings.  3. Age 16-30: This is the period of mul...

Constructional features of Caffettiera

By
After a little introduction in the previous article about Caffettiera, the italian Coffee Pot , one would like to understand its features and the way to use it. Caffettiera, the most famous and most common Coffee pot available in every Italian home is the best piece of appliance or a gadget made of steel or aluminum that one can have in their home. It consists of two halves which can be screwed easily with a transition piece in between them and that is all. It sounds strange but it is a fact that it does not contain anything else. If one carefully observes by taking this caffettiera (a metal gadget with a hybrid look for strangers as it seems something like an hour glass with a handle and a projected mouth like a jug) into their hands, the design and the constructional features of the coffee pot will be much appreciated. These mere three pieces of metal have all the elements required for making coffee, here coffee refers to strong coffee or caffe normale as called by the Ita...
