ANULOMA - VILOMA PRANAYAMA

Image
Pranayama (Prāṇāyāma) is a combination of two Sanskrit words 'Prana' which means life force, vital energy or breath, and 'Ayama' means to extend. This forms a part of various yogic practices devised in ancient India. Nowadays almost everybody from school-going children to college students and private and public employees, business people, etc., leads mechanical life in towns and cities. They find no time to concentrate on their health. Even they have no time to verify whether their food proportionately contains sufficient quantities of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals, etc., required daily for their health. If such is the case where is the time for them to look after their physical and mental fitness? With a view to give some tip to our readers, ViprasCraft is suggesting the following simple alternate breathing exercise in comfortable pose, also known as Anuloma-Viloma Sukha Pranayama (Comfortable alternate breathing exercise). Anulom-vi...

PEACEFUL AND HAPPY LIFE.

Image
Peace of mind is a mental state of calmness or tranquility, and freedom from worry and anxiety.  The desire of every human being and the goal of every prayer is peace of mind. It is a beautiful gift, which only we can give to ourselves just by expecting nothing from anyone. There is no real wealth in this world than peace of mind.    A happy life is all about the art of balancing our relationship with all the family members,  relatives, and friends. It can only be found if we can free ourselves of all other distractions. For every minute of being angry, we lose the same amount of happiness in our life.  It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, kindness, and gratitude. It will never come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have. We won't get real happiness from what we get, but it comes from what we give to others and other living beings.  Feeling some positive emotions every day has a big effect on o...

FRIENDSHIP

Image
Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection and love between people. In other words, it is familiar and liking of each other's mind. It is not something we learn in school.   Man cannot live all alone. He is a social being. He needs someone to share his joys and sorrows.   The strength of the bond of friendship between two people can vary. If the bond is very strong i.e., being kind, generous, loyal,  honest, etc., between the friends, they are called BEST FRIENDS . With these qualities, one can enjoy the bliss of friendship. Friends are important to have because they support us when things get tough in life and are always there to love and help.   Friends will come and go in our lives.  A good friend is trustworthy to tell us the truth, even when it is hard for us to hear, makes us smile, and is there to listen and comforts us when we cry. Having good friends who stood first in difficult situations is really important....

Substance of Bhagavadgita in brief

Image
The experience of happiness and distress in life are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons,  tolerate them without being disturbed. For the soul, there is neither birth nor death nor it cannot be destroyed. It is everlasting and imperishable. He who dwells in the body is eternal and can never be killed.  Why you cry that you may lose something.? What did you bring with you, which you think you are losing now? What did you create your own,  which you think now that it is being destroyed?  You came with empty hands, you will leave with empty hands only.  Whatever is going to happen will definitely happen.  It is God's will. Don't  worry about it unnecessarily Be like a sage, who is not disturbed in spite of miseries nor delighted when there is happiness, free from attachment, fear, and anger. Be free from desires, devoid of false ego, and then alone you attain Real Happiness. Do your prescribed duty for the...

IMPORTANCE OF YOGA AND MEDITATION

Image
The food we take is to be digested and the undigested food if any shall come out as excreta from our body after 24 hours, otherwise we fell sick. The excess water we drink shall come out within 4 hours, otherwise, we fell sick. The air we breathe in shall come out within one minute, otherwise, we fell sick. As such, Anger, Hatred, Jealous, etc., are within us years together. What will happen if they dwell in our bodies like that?  We become sick permanently. That is why our great saints say that we the fools feel that we are living daily....in fact, we are dying to some extent day by day. If our age increases what we presume....  is our life span increases or decreases? We have to necessarily accept the bitter fact that we are dying daily to some more extent from these negative energies. Anger, stress, hatred, laziness, etc, which are within us and not leaving us are making our lives deadly. The only way to give Prana Sakthi( Vital energy) to our body is Yog...
