How to Make a Man and a Nation Great!

“Desamante Matti kaadoyi, desamante manushuloyi” is a Telugu proverb which is well known to the people of Andhra Pradesh. And about the great visionary Swami Vivekananda, every Indian has a great respect.

Let me remind to many of you and unveil to some of you, what he has said about the course of making a man and in turn his nation great.

Three things are necessary to make every man great and every nation great.

1. Conviction of the powers of Goodness,

2. Absence of Jealousy and Suspicion,

3. Helping all those who are trying to be and do good.

The great secret is absence of jealousy. Be always ready to concede to the opinions of your brethren and try always to conciliate.

CHARITY

Charity means voluntarily helping those in need as a humanitarian act by giving money, goods, etc., to the poor and needy either directly or through a Trust or Organization. Most forms of charity are concerned with providing basic necessities such as food, water, clothing, health care, shelter, education, etc., Charity  further means sharing what we have earned honestly and ethically with others. MASCHARYA(JEALOUSY)

Mascharya is a feeling of jealousy when someone else gets ahead of us or possesses things of value that we don't have. It is a state of intolerance born by seeing good qualities in others. It is a strong emotion that can break any strong relationship. It is a feeling of unhappiness and anger because someone has something which you cannot possess or someone that you want.  It is all about not accepting good qualities in others and is one of the six bad vices.  Mascharya (jealousy) is a form of hatred built upon insecurity and is classified as a mental disease. God does not like people having jealousy in their minds.  Arjuna became dearer to Lord Srikrishna, as the former is devoid of Mascharya(jealousy). The meaning and nature of friendship changes with the stages of life.  In real life, friendship does not remain the same throughout life. As a man grows, circumstances, ego, jealousy, misunderstandings, and economic differences slowly test relationships.  Many friends come close for some time and later move away.  This is natural reality of life.  Below is a more realistic view of friendship through the stages of life. 1. Age 4-6: At this age, friends are playmates. A child thinks a friend is someone who shares toys, plays games, and spends time together. Realisation of the Truth or God.

In the Vedic and Upanishadic tradition, Saksatkara, the direct realisation of Truth or God, is not described as an external vision but as an inner awakening of one's true Self (Atman) — a state in which the seeker directly experiences Reality without doubt. Saksatkara comes through inner purification, meditation and grace, not mere study. According to Vedic wisdom, saksatkara is direct experience, not belief.  It is a permanent inner transformation, not a passing vision, and it brings deep peace, fearlessness, detachment, and universal love. In other words, it is experiencing your true Self as one with Brahman, not imagination, not emotion, but clear inner seeing.  Brihadaranyaka Upanishad teaches that Brahman cannot be limited.  Anything we can see, think, or describe is limited. Develop Renunciation for Spiritual progress

Renunciation is not a desire to abandon our kith and kin, friends, home, wealth, job etc., It is only to reduce and eventually stop undue attachments to worldly pleasures and that seeks liberation from the cycle of rebirth. It is included in the four-step practice of Rajayoga. One has to take up this practice after developing Viveka (discriminating faculty). That is after knowing what is good and what is bad, what is true and what is untrue and what is eternal and what is temporary. One has to leave bad, untrue, and perishable things once for all, so that he may turn towards good, truth and eternality. This is called renunciation. One has to cultivate this non-attachment for proceeding on the path of spirituality without which one cannot attain higher stages. Ethernet connection: PC - Laptop   All brings their personal laptops with them where ever they go. They have a desktop PC at home which is connected to the Internet, but want to share the Laptop documents with the PC. By using Ethernet crossover cable they can manage them (PC - Laptop) by sharing the documents. Since both computers have built-in Ethernet. However, the only Ethernet port on desktop is generally connected to a cable modem for internet. Here there is no need for a modem to build a Private network between the two systems.   You can connect these two systems by using Ethernet crossover cable as shown above.

It is not something we learn in school.   Man cannot live all alone. He is a social being. If the bond is very strong i.e., being kind, generous, loyal,  honest, etc., between the friends, they are called BEST FRIENDS . With these qualities, one can enjoy the bliss of friendship. What do I need to buy, a desktop? Or a laptop computer? Or is it good to buy a tablet instead? What about a Smartphone instead of all these? And then is it good to buy a Tablet with 3G and WiFi? If you get all these questions in your mind, well, the answer is very simple. You are the only person who can decide what the best for you is. It all depends on your needs first. Then it depends on your budget. And then it comes down to the understanding of the technical advantages and limitations associated with each type of device. If you are the one who thinks or is actually trying to figure out if Smartphone and Tablets can replace the computer, you are mistaken.
