Split any file - Exchange in an email - Join the parts easily

We want to share some very good files with our friends but sometimes the file sizes can become a limitation to be sent in an email. If we use a messenger service then it may be possible to exchange the file directly without any email, but even for doing this we need to have the sender and the receiver using the same messenger at both sides. Suppose if there are problems with the internet speed and the sender and receiver using two different messenger or email programs the things will become a mess.

So what is the solution? For this kind of a problem, HJSplit software is the solution. Copyrighted to Freebyte.com , HJSplit 2.3 is a small piece of File splitting software program for Windows XP, Vista, 2000, NT, 95, 98, ME. HJSplit is able to split files of any type and any size. It is a Freeware, free for commercial and non commercial use. As mentioned by Freebyte.com on its webpage, you can distribute this program, freely and without charge (on CD-ROMs, Websites, etc.) provided that you do not change the program or the zip file in any way, that the program is clearly freeware or shareware, that you do not ask any money for the program itself.

Having known this let us see how this program works for us.

You can split almost all the files, including AutoCAD, zip files, mp3 and anything.

To use, it is simple, just run this exe file found in the folder when you download it for free from Freebyte.com.

There are two things that you can do with this software.

  1. You can split the file into many part files, you can also set the memory limit for each part file. For example, you can chose to split a 5 MB file into some part files of 30 KB or 40 KB or 50 KB according to the requirements or limitations of the mail program you use.
  2. You can just join all these part files with the same software and create the original file.

This HJ Split software can be considered as a mechanical workshop, in which all the components are produced which make the designed final product. Then all the part files are assembled in the same way like in a production line.

The only important point to be remembered is that before splitting and also while joining, it is better to create a new folder. Do all the splitting and assemblage in the same folder so that we don’t mess up things at the end.

Otherwise, even if we miss a single part file of say some 10 KB, the original file may be corrupted. It seems to be so simple, right? Enjoy this software. Thanks to the software provider Freebyte.com and their good idea. Apart from this there are so many other useful softwares found on this site.

Who in Team India can replace Sachin?

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, popularly known as Sachin is always in the news in India as the fans always support him and the critics often wait to comment upon him. In most of the cases victory is of Sachin Tendulkar but there were times when he had to maintain his cool, get back to the game, explode in the game and answer his critics with his bat.

Not only in the total number of runs to be scored by India Sachin has to take a major share, but also with the current world cup disaster for Team India, Sachin has to take a major share to bear all these comments. While it is quite sure that Sachin may come back to his top class form in very few matches in no time, this is a time when the cricket fans all over the country are furious about India’s dismal performance in the world cup. So, many of the readers of Times of India (TOI) have voted against Sachin Tendulkar that he should go out of the team. I was one of the readers too but I did not vote. Because it is too much hype that sometimes the media create. TOI is no exception as it has done something to cope up with its competitors. I don’t comment on TOI as I am a regular reader of TOI, but my point is regarding the media in general. Why do the media create so much hype, calculations, analysis, and statistics before the World cup and now hold these voting games?

It would be better, if very often, the same media take some social causes like caste Reservation systems or Pollution control or even some issues regarding our constitution and ask for public voting including the controversial topics. Then media can make it clear what the corrupt politicians of our country are really doing and what does the public think about them! It will be of a great help to the nation really because generally newspapers are read by literates – especially Times of India (TOI), the Indian Express or the Hindu.

Coming back to the point of Cricket, do the fans really want Sachin to go out? I think “No”. It may be due to the underlying anger and disappointment of all the cricket fans, their voice was against Sachin. But if the same TOI makes a survey after a month or two, then the situation may be different.

Some say that Sachin is playing for his records or individual benefits. His performance in the last world cup 2003 alone shows his commitment. Even then we can comment that he failed to deliver in the finals. But is Cricket like Tennis or Badminton or Golf? “Absolutely No”. Then why comment only Tendulkar when all the others too failed to deliver.

Why can not other Team India players play like Sachin? Why should all the India’s opponents prepare a special plan for getting rid of Tendulkar? Why don’t they plan to get rid of others as well? Why none targets Ganguly or Dravid or Yuvraj or Dhoni? Sachin has to be got out for any opponent to win against India. But the same opponent can just wait for the time to see the other Indian cricketers getting out themselves.

While Dravid is the best batsman in crisis, he too can not replace Tendulkar. He can not play shots like Tendulkar. So far he never played as explodingly as Sachin. So the opponent need not worry about Dravid even if getting him out is difficult. Only Dravid knows why he can’t play front-foot shots like Sachin. Why his strike rate is not like Sachin?

And what to say about Ganguly? He can not score or bat well on the leg side like Sachin. He takes more time to settle down in batting before he starts scoring. He is also one of the best cricketers in the world like our Sachin and Dravid, but he too can not replace Sachin with respect to his batting style, strike rate and runs scored.

And why to compare Sachin’s contribution in the matches won, with those of Ricky ponting, Brian Lara and others? Even the tail-enders of any team will finish the match in good style once a good start is made by their top order batsmen. But in case of Team India, the situation is pathetic. In 99% of the cases the present Indian team tail-enders have never played to finish off a match in India’s favour.

In the India’s World cup campaign of 1983, it was the difference caused by the tail-enders in the total Indian score that stood out at last in India’s favour. India was down 140/9 and the last wicket partnership was 43 runs which in total contributed to 183 all out. Then India bowled out

Even if Ricky ponting plays or not, Australia wins. But the same logic applied to India, “Even if Sachin plays well or not, India loses”. The problem is in the attitude of the team. It is foolishness to look at the statistics and say for example, Ricky Ponting is more contributing to his team’s success compared to Sachin. Because as Indian cricket fans, we know how many matches India had lost even when Sachin made his contribution? And we too know how many matches India had won in which Sachin failed to score big runs. They can be countable on our finger tips.

So in any case Sachin is the best of all the Indian cricketers in action today, and also the best of the world of this cricket generation.

This is not the end, if you have anything to say against Sachin, you are welcome to share your views by commenting on this post.
